Dr. Terry Lowitz has been practicing dentistry in the Cincinnati area for
over 30 years. He received his Bachelor of Science degree
from the University of Cincinnati and earned his Doctor of Dental
Surgery Degree in 1979 from The Ohio State University School of
Dentistry.

Dr. Lowitz is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep
Medicine, American Sleep Apnea Association, Ohio Sleep Society, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry,
Ohio Dental Association, Cincinnati Dental Society, and the Flying
Dental Association.

Besides practicing full time, Dr. Lowitz teaches at The University of Cincinnati Dental Residency Program.

Dr Lowitz has a special interest in sleep apnea as he has sleep apnea himself, and wears an oral appliance for sleep apnea every night.

Dr Lowitz has one of the few dental practices that has a certified respiratory therapist with over 20 years of sleep medicine experience on staff.

Dr Lowitz attends well over 50 hours of continuing education in sleep apnea each year, and is working toward his Diplomat status in the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

He and his daughter Amy, a physics major at Brown University, enjoy many
hobbies including SCUBA diving and flying. He is an accomplished pilot and
teaches recreational and technical scuba diving in the Cincinnati area.
